Bereavement Counselling:
The Deora Project is available to work with all types of loss including bereavement, suicide, homicide, and loss through addiction.

Addiction Counselling:
We provide counselling to clients in all stages of addiction and recovery, which includes alcohol dependency, narcotics, gambling, co-dependency, relapse intervention, aftercare support and harm reduction.  Our experienced counselling team uses a variety of therapeutic models including one-to-one, group, outreach and drop-in counselling.  We also support families and individuals who are affected by addiction.

Crisis Intervention
The Deora Project is available to support people who are suicidal or self-harming. All our counselling team are trained in suicide crisis intervention and suicide first-aid (ASIST).

Drop-In Counselling
The Drop-In service provides information and referrals to services at the Deora Project and in the community. This service is available on Wednesday mornings from 10am to 1pm, no appointment necessary.  It offers crisis-orientated counselling aimed at reducing risk of harm to self and is particularly useful for people who are struggling with addiction or relapse.

Out-Reach Counselling
The Deora Out-Reach Service provides one-to-one counselling and family support to clients who are unable to attend counselling at the Deora Project. Counselling can take place at the client’s house, community centre, or place of work. The Deora Project can arrange to see clients at projects and agencies throughout the North Inner City. We also provide outreach counselling support to agencies particularly in the area of suicide intervention, critical incident debriefing and postvention counselling.

Training
We also offer trainings in ASIST, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, Mindfulness, facilitated groupwork and workshops on bereavement and addiction.
